Why Pressurice ?
“The most effective way to accelerate recovery”
For centuries, cold therapy has been used to relieve pain and speed up recovery. Recent medical studies have shown that ice is not optimal on its own. Leading sports medicine professionals now privilege the POLICE protocol (Protection Optimal Loading Ice Compression Elevation) the globally recognized approach combining cold and compression for optimal treatment and accelerated recovery.

How can I get a refund?
In Switzerland, health insurance companies allow a refund for compression wraps and ice packs. It is however necessary to get a
prescription. In order to do so, an information flyer intended for physicians is available here.
What should I do if my doctor refuses to prescribe Pressurice?
Physicians very rarely refuse to prescribe the 2 components of Pressurice (compression wrap + Silicone Ice Pack). However, should such a case arise, we kindly ask you to write to Pressurice and indicate the doctor’s name and contact details . We will intervene on your behalf to the best of our ability. There is of course no guarantee.
Maintenance / storage
How do I get rid of the unwanted debris sticking to the compression wrap (hair, threads, dust etc)?
Adhesive rolls are very efficient to get rid of unwanted debris sticking to the wrap. Do not use a brush.
How can I clean the wrap?
The wrap can be washed at 40°C / 105°F. We recommend you isolate the wrap in a washing net. Do not put the wrap in the dryer, let it dry in the open air.
Can I store the wrap and the Silicone Ice Pack in the freezer?
Yes, if the freezer is spacious enough, the wrap can be folded together with the Silicone Ice Pack placed inside the mesh pocket. The black “Freezer Bag” is provided specifically for this purpose and ease of use.
In case of continuous and repeated use, it is recommended to place only the Silicone Ice Pack in the freezer without the wrap. This will speed up the cooling process.
